| Educational Lunch 2009 - Hosted by Leslie Kitten |
|
By: Leslie Kitten, 2009 President
SPPPA is
in full swing and excited to see all old and new
photographers! We have a great line up of programs
and hope that you can come every month and get the most
out of your membership dollars. It is most
important to attend the Monday night meetings in order
to grow your business and fellowship with other
photographers.
I know
how hard it is for some of you to make it on Monday
nights. I understand that people have other jobs,
classes and children that they need to tend to during
this time. That is why I am implementing SPPPA’s
Lunch and Learn series. You do not have to be a
member of SPPPA to come, so it is a great time to meet
everyone before you decide to join SPPPA. There
are no rules, no charge and no limit on what you can
learn by sitting around a table and talking to your
fellow photographers. Please bring guests that are
interested in a professional photography business or
ones that already have their business going. Lunch
starts at 11 and discussion over the topic at hand will
start at 11:30. This is a come and go lunch, but,
if the discussion is good, it might last until around 2
pm, so mark enough time off of your calendar to get in
on all of the discussion. Please feel free to
arrive late or leave early to this event as it is not
formal; we just want to meet and brainstorm with
photographers from all walks of life! When
arriving at the restaurant, ask for the table for SPPPA
or look for your friends. Order when you get to
the restaurant so that we don’t have to waste good talk
time on ordering food! Everyone is responsible for
their own lunch ticket. Here are the dates and
topics. I hope to see you all there! Please
try to let me know if you are coming by e-mailing
leslie@savantphotography.com.
This way we will be sure to get a table large enough.
Be sure to bring some talking points over the topic.
Any advice or questions you have are welcome.
Remember that if you are wondering, chances are, so is
someone else!
